When you go to a store and purchase something, you generally walk out with a bag in your hand. With dispensaries, you get a slightly different exit bag.

What are Dispensary Prescription and Exit Bags

Upon exiting the dispensary after your purchase, you will need a compliant bag to leave. These prescription bags or exit bags are need to disguise your purchase. Most bags are opaque and non-transparent. 

Depending on which state you're in, you might get a Kraft paper bag or you might get a plastic zip lock bag that is child proof. These ziplock baggies come with a semi-complex process of opening the bag.

Kraft Paper Bags

Kraft paper bags are paper bags with a simple design that says "Prescriptions" on the top of the front cover and a "Thank you" on the bottom. It also features a RX on the front. This is very similar to what you will see when you get your medicine from a pharmacy.
